Looks great Terry! Funny that I just cracked into a Nitto SAFS myself. Were the kit hoses hard to work with? Or does your scratch stuff just look better?

Yep, the homemade stuff looks extremely better! The kit uses coil spring which does not "lay" as realistic as lead wire or something similar. The new stuff has more "weight", it is more believable! Great work till now, Terry! But where is the complete interior design, hehe!?

What head is this? It is not the one from the kit? I had build a Fliege years ago with an interior I thought might fit. Sadly, nearly nothing IS VISIBLE!
I am curious how you will paint the armor, what weathering you do and, heck, everything! Cool fleshtones! I would love to see sometime something like a veteran inside, an elder guy, maybe a beard and some scars. A bit like Dallas from ALIEN...

The other one is female. Yes a old veteran would be cool, but maybe you don't get that old when using one of these. Painting weathering are coming up next.

Off to a great start Terry, the hose work looks spot-on and very realistic. Looking forward to seeing it come to life!

Thanks Bill! The build part of it is pretty easy. This more of a painting exercise.

I have no idea what this is, but it's freakin' cool. The hosing looks excellent. I think that really makes the kit. And the wear on the armor is great.

Yap, lovely finish! Love the rusty parts, done very realistic. And nice to see a PKA weathered only lightly, not overdone with chipping, pinwashes, hairspray, salt and all those tons of weathering doings seeming so important these days. Only small point of critic from me is the base, guess why! BUT I think you wanted to give it a break after those hard work on the Fledermaus, so less is more here I think.
Top work as ususal, Terry!
