Having a busy year i guess.. Another commission build is coming up and hope you like to follow along. It is the AFV Sturmtiger kit with a set of Friuls, i think it will make a impressive build:) This is the camo the customer want. Cheers!

35 or 48 scale?
I'm glad to see in the 35 scale version they deleted the zim all together, leaving you the option to add it or not. I've got their 48 version and it has zim molded on the front and back, but none on the sides, leaving you the options of removing what's there or replicating it where needed.

Well at least you won't have to worry about pulling off that particular scheme! Looks like a fun one to tackle.

Hey chaps, how nice to visit this topic I am looking forward to this build but still no sign from the mailman.. While waiting for the kit and the tracks for the DAK panzer I did made a start on the Friuls. This set was for a old project that didn't make it. So this afternoon i spend some time finish one side. Just taking it easy on this sunny day.. No wife and kids just the sun.. Love it

I'd almost think beer would be a necessary ingredient in the assembly of Fruils

Change of plans.. The AFV kit was on back order so i had to cancel it. On a Dutch forum i scored the Tamiya kit. I used Dragon's steelwheels and added the zimmerit with 2 component putty thin as possible but with that ruff look from a field applied zimmerit coat. PE parts are from different sets. The super detailed barrel is from Voyager and i sharpened all the welds with thinner and a knife to update the kit a bit Hope you like the test fit pics. Last things are added as we speak before primer
