Steyr 1500 Kommandeurwagen Tamiya 1:35

I've started this build some time ago.
It's the Tamiya kit which really fits nicely together. PE is from Voyager.
I want the wheels to be turned, so had to alter the steering gear a bit. I used some copper wire and some Magic Sculp to fix this.
So this is where I'm right now. Painting of the Steyr is done with Tamiya acrylics. First as a primer matt black, than a few thin coats of a mixture of dark yellow and buff (50:50). After that I've added some redbrown and green camo. The worn of white wash was created using the hairspray technique. To ad some variation in the white wash I've used some oil paint (titanium white), Humbrol enamel (matt white) and some Vallejo acrylics (foundation white). Weathering is done with oils. I've only added some pin washes with raw umber and some chipping done with Vallejo acrylics. The figure is from Mantis. It's a figure from the Schwimmwagen set, and had to alter it a bit to fit in the Steyr. Painting of the figure is done with Vallejo acrylics, head and hands is done with oils.
The fruit and vegetables are from Black Dog and also painted with Vallejo. The number plates are decals by Peddinghaus decals from Germany.
I'm planning a little dio for the Steyr, hope to give some updates soon! :-)
