Hi all. This came up in discussion yesterday so I thought I would throw it open to my learned forum members. Mr Surfacer, can you thin it? if so, with what? There, nice and easy.... Thanks chaps.

sure you can thin it mate, I spray thinned Mr. Surfacer 1200 through the AB: you can use their own Mr. Color Thinner, and even Tamiya Lacquer thinner (or if you can find it Gaianotes Lacquer Thinners - it comes in 1 litre or 0,5 litre bottles) works well with it ^^
Cheers

you can also just the surfacer 1000 or lower for the anti-slip effect.
