Remember the original release Tamiya PzIII? I'd like to try a sand over gray paint job and don't feel like plonking down $40 or more for the newer release, and DML gives me gas. Bueller? I might have something trade-worthy, but happy to buy outright also. Shoot me a msg at: offroadwine at yahoo dot com.

Well, the saga continues. At SuperCon this past weekend, I was looking for one of these kits (the original Tamiya PzIII to use these tracks on, and no joy. What I did find (and buy) was the old CMK Brumbar (is that a bear with a broom?) that I thought might work, since it's the Tamiya StuGIV with conversion parts up inside 'er. No joy, the drive sprockets are way too wide to fit the Friuls. A little basic research tells me why. So.... I need to do a deal. I would like to swap this kit for a really old Tamiya PzIII OR IV, something that these tracks will fit, OR swap the tracks for something that would fit the Baer with a Broom. Pics of both: I could even be persuaded to sell one or both, but I would like to end up building something in DAK yellow, so ponder on that. If the deal warrants it, I could also be persuaded to cough up some shipping costs.

So you want to build something in DAK yellow, and are willing to trade Friuls to do so? Hmmmmm. Let me poke around.

Ah, Todd, you know me well. I almost bought the old DML Imperial Series PzIII at SuperCon, got ready to do it and when I came back to that particular vendor's table, now only was that kit gone but so was the whole stack of 12 or so that it was in. Somebody bought a bunch of kits....

Yeah, the 'show' kits don't last very long on the tables sometimes! The old ones are proceed to sell...for all intents and purposes, they are more than adequate to build with a little love and in the right hands!!

That's what I'm looking for, but the last few shows I've been to have had weak vendor turnouts. I suppose that since somebody on the Big A jumped on the Friuls, this project is on hold anyway.
