This kit is pretty close to the top of my wish-list. I hope it builds as nice as the parts suggest. Although I have noticed in the shot of the underside of the finished model that the exhaust doesn't appear to be connected to the engine... I can't remember how many times I was tempted by the resin version - now I'm glad this was one of the few occasions where I didn't give in to temptation

I'm liking this more and more! Got to finish a few more models before I can add this to my stash - I've run out of storage space.

I've run out of storage space. I continue to collect items in a small group. Little details are very well looked. Plastic average hardness, of careless handling is not broken. Processed easily.

Nice progress Serzh! Are the red tubes just there to keep the chassis staight while the glue is setting? Or is it a detail missing from the kit?

Leon, Dierk - THANKS! Dierk - It is easy to work with assembly segments of the base. Cotton Buds))) Basis (frame) made segments. The honor for its springs, and the average - in the body. Although controversial decision ... - everything looks good. I have put in place the segments strengthened their struts and poured a liquid glue... IMPORTANT! You should remove these segments, or segments of the frame is bad joints... Many questions about the strange springs - they looked exactly as in the set. This protective covers of metal.

Hi to all. Wheels good, but made in two parts, so no tread pattern. Only 4 bands, i make them myself...

Beautiful! How did you cut the grooves? Was it a small-tooth saw blade (пилиться) and turning the tires with a drill?

No, this is done by hand Step 1 - make the surface flat tire. Spontaneously assemble device, which creates a sense of the right angle. Only instead of rasp - sandpaper. I spin the wheel by hand, without pressing zhostko to the base surface and abrasive. Step 2 - strip. You need a flat surface, the old blade (sharp edge removed by specifying the desired thickness) and strips of plastic or metal of different thickness, the protective tape Tamiya, paper, there are different options to create the desired size (they created distance between the stripes) Again twist the wheel. It might be necessary to mask the image of the side surface of the wheel ..

You may already know, but there are walkarounds of four different vehicles on this page: legion-afv.narod.ru/Avto_USSR.htmlThis looks like a very nice kit. You're doing an excellent job, как обычно. Regards Scott Fraser

The Zvezda GAZ-AA was the first kit I built when I returned to the hobby - and yes, terrible quality! It was only supposed to be a quick build to pass the time during a particularly bad winter... But it's like learning how to ride a motorbike: if you start with a nasty horrible bike you can appreciate better, more modern bikes much more
