I just added Balaton Modell from Hungary. This small manufacturer makes some of the rare softskins from the cold war era in both 1/72 and 1/35, and from both sides, as well as some resin aircraft, detail sets, figures and diorama items. Most of their kits are nonexistant from other manufacturers, while the original vehicles were built in millions, like the GAZ-66 and UAZ-452 series. 1/72 UAZ-452 police 1/72 PTS-M Amphib 1/72 ATS-59 G with crane 1/72 MOWAG Eagle IV 1/72 GAZ-66 Fire fighter 1/72 M1070 Gun truck 1/72 RT-240 Container handler 1/72 Kirovets K-700 tractor 1/72 Mi-2 decal set 1/72 SBT-22 River Gunboat for Vietnam 1/35 Hungarian Tanker 1/35 MTZ-80 tractor 1/35 Barkas B1000 van 1/72 RMI-8 hungarian prototype fighter plus wheels, conversions, etc

Wow!! Those are some great looking kits Petr. I hope they are! I have a most popular selection of them in the post towards my shop already, and others could be ordered and would arrive in a few weeks. I also consider to tackle one of them myself - most likely a UAZ-452D or GAZ-66.

Cool! well, i am a 1/35 scale guy, so i hope they bring some more eastern European civilian cars in 1/35 scale. The MTZ and Barkas are a wonderfull addition for modern diorama's. I have a idea for a modern diorama with a T-80 tank in the first chechen war, driving over a Lada (or another eastern eupean car) in the street. Trumpy made a nice T-80, Maim/ant miniatures/masterclub figures to go, but a nice car is missing...lets hope they fill the gap.
Regards,
Remco

I just got a parcel from them, so several of their kits are now in stock. I have taken a look into every box, and they are all very nice cast, and none seems to be deformed.
