Shoot, just the available replacement heads would make it worth it. Some of the kit heads are dicey at best!

The dio made good progress the last days. Figures are complete, I found an AFV Club EOD robot that fits perfectly for a little maintenance scene and a kitbashed self propelled defense gun for ground defense was build - it consitst of a MiniArt lamp post, GW parts and PE. Overview so far: Figures: Weapon: Nutcracker:

Good question Chris. At the moment, I have two weeks free. So theres a bit time to model left. If Im not in holiday-mode business on demand is a factor - Im trying to get a group of parts ready, then Im concentrating on other smaller parts that need to be installed and that are pretty simple to do. Depends on the project. In this case that meant that I painted the figures for example and while the paint was drying, I glued smaller parts on the Nutcracker. Sometimes its a bit confusing, but here the instructions come in very useful (just imagine to guess where all that small parts are going ). It would take much longer and the Nutcracker has TONS of parts. Theres plenty of nuts, bolts, antennas, handles and all that stuff.

Great finish! Interesting to see the detail level on your Nutcracker vs the one I'm working on in 1/76 - difficult to know what some of the down-scaled parts originally looked like.

Nicely done...and the fact that you were at the beach first makes it a nice contrast to the scene itself.

Dupes, good luck with the smaller one. Bill & Leon, many thanks. I wanted to lick on the dio to cool down a bit, but it tasted strange.
