I haven’t been to active the last few months. Taking a brake from things with tracks. But a talk with Mr. Boggs on the phone gave me a little push to post this one up. The old Italeri WC 54 Ambulance. I have an Eduard PE set for it, and working on a replacement set of wheels. I think this one will give me some good panel surfaces to weather my favorite color, Olive Drab.

Yeah Marc Italeri put a "U" in Ambalance for some reason. I guess it's like "fur" instead of "for" and "Of" instead of "Off". Tony lee

Looking forward to this BJ! I'm with you on the track thing! I think after I build all my stash tanks, I'm moving exclusively to wheeled vehicles with tires! I'm taking a break from them now too!

BJ looks like a nice kit.Count me in. Thanks Leon! I've got a good start on it, but not ready for pics just yet. This thing was copyrighted back in 1977. Lots of, and I mean lots of clean up required. Man these new high tech kits will sure spoil a man. This one is really taking me back in time, but I'm having fun with it!

Well, here are a couple of pics from the progress thus far. I recently got a bug PE tool from The Small Shop and figured it was time to get serious about PE. I’m still in the process of filling large sink holes in the seats, so that lumpy putty will get sanded down. Lots of clean up work on this old fellow. I’m getting to a point where I’m going to dry fit the body together so I can plan out how I’m going to paint the interior.

Good to see this under way, you tend to forget how far moulding technology has progressed when it comes to filling parts before you can start!
