I love that Late JP Tony! I asked for the highly recommended 'On Disply vol.2 - StuG III' from Canforna which looks brilliant! It was recommended to me on here and I 'm fighting the urge to start a StuG build right now! LOL! My stash is pretty full at present so with that new KT added to it along with all the stowage and Dry Transfers I recently bought I can't think of anything else I need right now - except I got cash which has already spent on the internet today on King Tiger Friuls and RB Barrels! Is that the one that Homer uses in the Simpsons to cheat when he's working from home? It keeps tipping up then standing up again? Ben

Well I wanted something related to armour. So what did I get? A bloody Airfix Harrier GR.1, and the Hobbit on DVD. How are they armour related? I also got £50 of Mum so know where that's going? hehe

Got a gift card from my wife to the local Arts & Crafts store to buy the supplies for a long discussed and debated car dealership "diorama" building to be used as a photo back-drop. Guess I don't have any excuses now...

Nice drinking bird...just make sure to keep it well stocked with water/liquid, don't want him to dry out on you!

I was a good boy this year! Firstly, I listened to my darling wife's hints and bought her these: Made her so happy that she insisted I order the two models I'd been yakking about that last few weeks, so I ordered Meng's Achzarit and Academy's Magach6 Gal-Batash. I'm all tingles.... The Achzarit is coming from HLJ, the Magach from Internet Hobbies. I know there's been bad juju about IH, but I've had good service from them so far, and it's suppose to ship in 2-3 days, even though my order confirmation has an "in stock" disclaimer. HLJ says the Achzarit is in stock, but it may be three weeks before I get it. Must be coming on a camel via the Silk Trail.

Good Day All!
Well, Santa didn't bring any model railroad stuff this year, but I did get 5 new 1/35 scale Russian WWII Era Military Model Kits, and some civillian autos. including an original Monogram '86 Chevy Monte Carlo that I been wanting for years, as it was the first car I bought (almost new) with my own money. I spent the last 2 days, rearranging/cleaning my 2workshops. I am ready for another year of modeling. I need to stop by the LHS, and replenish the supplies of glue, paints, brushes, and other miscellanous items using the gift cards my boys gave me.

Well let's see...A Cyberhobby Panzer II, a Dragon Panther A with the Verlinden interior and engine sets (I'll be doing a cutaway out of this at some future point, and it's Nemo's fault), a jug of 18 year old Glenmorangie, and a left sided kidneystone that I'm sitting here loaded on oxycontin as I type waiting for it to find it's way out, ouch ouch.
All are pretty neat except the latter which I could have cheerfully done without
Regards, Mark

I got my long-awaited.... I'm putting my airbrush into the Airbrush Company for an overhaul and full service and when it's back and in use I'll be doin' a sorta review on the cleaner to give 'non-users' a heads up on the unit and see if it is a worthwhile investment I am definitely interested... thinking about getting one soon since my wife's small jewelry broke so I told her to get a bigger one.

I got an ultrasonic cleaner just before xmas and was amazed at how much gunk came out of my airbrush. Can't say I noticed any improvement on performance so am guessing most if the gunk was pretty inaccessible around the trigger The only plastic build gift I received this year ! I nice surprise from my wife though She bought me Lego's Red Baron's Fokker about 7 years ago and it still survives intact. Approx 1/16 scale at a guess Happy new year to one and all

And you Deaf P My son was obsessed with the stuff until he was 13 (5 years ago) He kept all the boxes and most were built until him and his mates decided to use them as a firing range and it all ended up in colour-coded individual storage boxes. Its now in a ferkin heavy bag (approx 35kg) in the garage. He still wont let me sell it on Fleabay ! Los

No pics at present but I'll try and sort that out soon. in addition to the usual socks, jocks and smellies- all very welcome tbh , on the mogelling front I have had; Shamrock miniatures 75mm Resin figure of The Big Fella- Michael Collins -my all time historical hero's- this is definitely out of my comfort zone but I am so looking forward to building and painting him. A selection of Vallejo paints - for both The Big Fella and my more usual builds A selection of Tamiya masking tape- various sizes- perfect! I was actually running out of this stuff And last but but no means least modelling vouchers for Historex Agents- some of which have already been used to purchase a Verlinden Trophy models 4x4 Piranaha- going for less than £20 - which arrived this morning- and its old school resin- lovely detail but a solid block of the stuff!( so Christmas has paid for my first acquisition of 2014!) My own present to myself- another Tamiya 2A6 (hopefully I've learned something from Tobi's 2a4 blog) I managed to snaffle on evilbay to the door for the right side of 35 squids! ( )don't tell Mrs H
