LVTP-7 R.O.K. M.C. 9/22 Took a bronze medal today

Evening guys,got the detail painting done last night and made some docking lines out of string.Going to spray the clear coat in a bit so I can get the decals on tomorrow.Still trying to acquire some hollow rubber tires to use as bumpers.Hope you like it so far.

Morning fellas,just finished putting the decals on and only had one disaster.The front eye brows for the headlights tore as they were hard to release from the paper.Now I'm thinking of hand painting them.I'm happy with how it's looking so far.Hope you enjoy the pics.

That looks well cool. But, if I may, I think you might want to consider toning down the blueness of the periscopes? Vallejo do a colour for that porpoise. Check out this picture

Evening guys,just a small update! Hand painted the eyes on the front because the decals wouldn't cooperate and release from the paper.The hands aren't as steady as they used to be.I think the eyes look pretty good.Also made a start on painting some figures,there not Korean....but what the hey. Also trying to modify a driver to fit in the hatch.Thanks for looking.

BTW...I was thinking about painting the mooring lines and decided to leave them the natural string color.

Evening guys,as the title says I'm going way out  of my comfort zone.Going to do a complete water dio.This is the start.The Mrs. is going to paint the water.I'll be using clear acrylic caulk for the water.

Evening fellas,started the water so there's no turning back now! Decided not to use the caulk, after watching two hours of you tube videos on doing water I decided to use Liquitex paste and gloss gel.The first coat is paste tinted with, now don't laugh...Hookers green! The next coats will be  done with the gloss gel.Need to do some testing on tinting  it before I commit to putting it on.BTW....I forgot to fill in around the props so that needs to be done yet.
