Thank you all much gents
This will halt for a couple days while I plan the base, which amounts to setting the included items in different relations to get an idea of what works best. In the meantime, there's another shelf queen being worked on. To be continued...
Andy it just may you can never tell what's gonna happen out here...If you've the time stop by for a drink

Thank you Leon and T I could not think of any pleasing arrangement with the PAK 40 I was thinking of including on a base with this model so I am going to include this 001 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr Needs lots of help this one. Am in the process of a thru the hatch partial interior and am in the process of acquiring some indy links for the kit. As can be seen I have already set the suspension up so it can articulate to whatever base it ends up on with the Hetzer. This was a $20 kit on sale at Sprue Brothers but with the additional money spent this project may no longer qualify for this thread Regards, Mark

Great camo and finish on the Hetzer buddy , the 100 is looking good too. Wouldnt get too hung up on the interior if you are only veiwing through hatches , what you have done already looks brilliant !

Just catching up on this one. Nice work on the Hetzer! Having built the occasional soviet armour kit myself, now that you've started pimping a Zvezda SU you've got my full attention. I'm with Deano on the interior, but if you want to go banzai on it I'll be happy to watch.

Thank you kindly gents
I'm not planning on going all gonzo on the fighting compartment; just enough to be passable. This will be more than most however as those things had a lot of large hatches in the roof

More done 002 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 003 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 004 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr 005 by Mark Hartig, on Flickr I did the welds with styrene rod and a wood burner tip filed to a particular shape. They looked pretty bad until I spotted some paint on them, still don't look too great but at least the actual vehicles in many cases had nasty looking crude welds so I am saved. Tore a muscle in my left arm, having surgery tomorrow to repair it. Not yet clear how long it'll be before I can use that hand so it may be awhile before another update on this Regards, Mark
