Wow, man. Hot build! You made me go downstairs and fondle one of my 1/32 Trumpeter kits. I blame you if I start on it this week.

Great job on this. Particularly with the paint and weapons load.

Nice work all around on the scooter Marc! Really enjoyed watching you pull this one together despite the decal overload and bomb complications. Just to see a pair of Bullpups mounted was worth it.

Too many people treat ordnance as an afterthought. I've been guilty of it myself. You haven't done that and it really sets the build off.
Love it all around but the iron hurt really brings it yo life. Great work.
What's next?

She is truly a beauty! Loved the bombs... I won't be surprised if it bring home some gongs.

Thanks Jim. Just started an IJN I-400 sub in the ships section. That may be put on a hopefully;;y short hold so thinking of another bird. MIG -21? Spitfire? I won't be surprised if it bring home some gongs. Thanks Andy. You;'re too kind. Knowing the errors the camera conveniently does not see, I would be very surprised

My vote would be for a MiG-21. Question is...which variant and scheme?

It's the Eduard MiG-21R ProfiPACK. It was the only one left on the shelf when the LHS closed down so I grabbed it know nothing it other than it looks like a major bad@$$. I am leaning to the MiG for a couple of reasons. 1) Ready for the echo? It looks like a major bad@$$. 2) My head it still in a gas passer mode after the A4. A few names have popped into my head as to who will make the 1st wise crack. And 3) I am sort of hooked on that blue from the A4 tail. It looks close enough that a minor alteration will get me a close match for the pre-painted cockpit PE. And there is a Cuban scheme that is green and...yup... that blue. OK, not leaning anymore.

Great job. Shot those babies off USS ESSEX in the 60's. Brought back a few memories.

Thanks EJ. When I hear that a model brings up memories it makes me nervous. They are not always good ones. Hope that's not the case.

Good ones. Those little crotch rockets were great! Ours were from a Marine detachment, Sub unit 1, H & MS 32, mag 32. prior to that they were from VA81 detachment 45. VA 81's A4D's, on our October 1961 deployment, made us the only CVAS carrier in either fleet. Got some pics of that.
