So for the next project I dug into the stash and grabbed a goody my wife purchaned for me a while back. Dragons Pz4 Vorpanzer. Man this kit is full to the gills. I have to start really adding bases and expanding my horizons a little. So this is one should do the Job. Tons of Xtras in the kit ordered some Modelkastes as well And we BUILD! Fully articulating suspension Separate tires Replaced PE chain with scale chain and will cut to length when ready. Hull is in 5 parts and some filling will be needed. Thats what I got so far. Model room is still undergoing some changes so pics will be up in a while. Enjoy Gents. Bob

A great kit and complete with fine details. One thing however, the modelkasten tracks. In your posting are for a late pz 4, they are to wide. You need 36 cm tracks and these are 40 cm. Modelkasten SK 26III for pz 3 and4 early is what you need..

Leon - Thanks buddy Deano - Glad to have ya along. Dupes - No kidding, I knew what I was getting into when I opened the box LOL Bill - funny you say that, I keep cutting parts off sprues but the part count never seems to go down......LOL Andy - thanks Buddy Eddy - you are now not my friend.....LOL I will now call you :Harbinger of bad modeling news" LOL. Funny when I checked it looked OK, but Ill take your word for it buddy, I can use these on one of the many Pz4s in the stash. Thank you for calling that out. Tojo - I would have to agree but the detail is stunning. The could have done away with the 6 part upper hull. Ill be back at the bench this evening, Oh and thanks to Eddy................SPENDING MORE MONEY! LMAO Bob

Bring it Brother Bob. The 1000+ parts count will keep you good and well occupied. Watch out for the turret basket support. I know that one of their earlier Pz IV offerings it did not line up. Simple fix....cut it off

Brother Dave - Part count is significantly getting smaller.............LOL, but Im running out of 15 year old single malt! Ok some more progress to report. Several days of fiddling and the hull is completed. Working on the turret interior now and then the turret itself. First run of magic tracks completed with great success......and booze! I get a photo of that up later. I will not be able to use the base the current tracks as they will not conform to the base the way I would like. Easy remedy............Ill make one. Bob

Great move using real chains... that's something I should have done on my current build. Why didn't I think of that?!?!? DUH! I am going to have it replaced because PE chain really sucks!

The wee chain you added is far superior to the PE "chain".

Hi there Bob,
I'm joining the crowd too, sitting front row.
This is a nice build! A good thing you're not using the complete interior. My buddy Elco is building the same one right now with (as I recall) all the extra's.... It's the DAK-panzer here on this forum.
It's very busy at work these days. Hopefully I will get some time these days to continue monitoring the progress on this attractive build.
Greetings, Richard.
