Excellent results brother. A base gives it much more life, no? Regards, Mark Thanks Mark! I agree, I wish I had the storage space to allow for bases on all my builds. This little guy just barely met the threshold for a small base to be possible and still fit in the display case.

Bill,
Now this build did a lot for me. You pretty much told me how to build the kit, and of course paint it. Looking at my kit a couple days ago; I was kind of worried about the fenders. Plus whether I might need after market fenders. I see I don't.
I'll probably build mine right out of the box, but with some tinkering here and there to show me that it's a well used piece. May also do a second SU76 in a Korean War theme. Lets hope that Tamiya takes this hull and moves into the T70 and T80 tank (T60?). We need more Soviet armor! gary

Sounds like you'll be able to get a lot of miles out of this one. I hope you're right about the possibility of other subjects but I wouldn't hold my breath. Tamiya hasn't shown much inclination to kit multiple subjects in the same 'family' of late but you never know!

Hi Bill Sorry I'm very late to the party on this one - the combination of a recent promotion and impending house move (we've sold ours but still need to find somewhere to move to ) mean I've had almost no time to check the forum since Easter, let alone build anything... - but then I saw the MoM email. I've got to say it's turned out very nicely indeed - and the simple base finished it off nicely. If I have time I'll catch up with the WIP sometime soon. Take care!! Andrew
