Evening fellas! My 2nd update today.I figured a way to get the missile tubes glued while waiting for the lower deck.I slid the tubes through the middle deck and glued them to the top hatch deck and everything is aligned nicely. All i have to do now is pull out the decks and glue the bottom deck on when it arrives and painted.Still have to detail paint the machinery on the middle deck.I have a neat idea to number the tubes if i can find 1/200 scale numbers.Hope you like the pics. 001 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 002 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr 003 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thanks for looking! Leon, it is very beautiful and realistic. I think more and more that at the end of construction the submarine will launch pair of ballistic missiles.

Zlovredov, thank you! To bad the sub came with only one missile. Going to try and make it look like it's being launched.

Wow. Very cool that that kit comes with that much interior detail!
Can't imagine it would be very difficult to source some number decals in the right size for your launch tubes.

Dierk, thank you! All 12 of the torpedoes go in the front of the hull. 6 racks with 2 torpedos each.

Leon, you need 110 more sailors before floating the boat! You already gather crew?

The tubes bring to mind a movie quote. "Ryan, be careful what you shoot at. Most things in here don't react too well to bullets."

Guy,thank you buddy! Torpedoes, racks and lower missile deck primed and ready for paint. With all these colors it sure is eye candy. Martin,i like the way you think! I should contact Revell and see if i can buy more sailors. Marc, that's a good one! Between the reactor and missiles that would make for one heck of a BOOM.
