T, yep, bench time when I get it.
Spuddy, a few atleast. The painting is the fun part depending on the wreck and work involved. One of the wrecks I'll be doing is a full blown T-34.

Nice work Rob! That Verlinden turret looks very neat on the hull. Always good to see a Panther, even a wrecked one ;D Cheers

Thanks Wout's. I've done some intact Panthers in the past. I had a customer I built Panthers for and they were mostly intact models.
Will have an update pic up soon.

Gonna do a few first. I am also working on the tracks for the M51 and KV at the same time. I switch on and off so as not to get burnt out with just tracks.

Yep. I have friends coming to stay for two weeks holiday, then in Aug come the In-laws for 4 weeks. Need to build a lot until then. This way I can do some painting when I do get bench time. I'm looking to get 4-5 models finished by the end of the year.

Thanks again fellas for the kind words. I am nearly done with the Panther. Still have some tiny bits to add and also the tracks. The tracks are no big deal as they can be added later. Work on the members only JP build is also nearing an end, just putting on the tool racks etc...

The tracks being used on the Panther are the Bronco tracks....lots of clean up etc. The JP has Magic Tracks but I may go without for that model, depends on the base it will be on.

right now I am making new fender thingies that run the length of the two tanks. I am not using the kit parts because they are too thick and don't has the curved lip along the edge. Sheet aluminum comes in very handy for these types of things, just takes a few tries to get them right and to form the curved lip. The JP doesn't have to be perfect as these will get bent and mangled. Stay tuned.

hmm how do you know there too thick? looking forward to seeing these bits

Spud the parts are about 1mm thick and these parts on the real tank are basically thin metal as with the front fenders. To bend and mangle the kit parts for a wreck just won't work...or look right. I've got all four done but have to first clean and glue the mounting parts first. I will get pics up today once they are on
