Well I am home on New Years Eve, so what the heck............ I took these shots in the hope they'd translate into what you'll actually be able to see with the Ausf L all dressed up.....

Dang PJ, a couple more years and you'll have this "scratchbuilding" thing down pat! In all sincerity, I am in awe and jealous of your skills.

So, I have been away...... So I tested where I am at by test spray painting. There are some issues that need to be addressed.

So the update was on the return roller mount and the front tow shackle mount. The return roller mount is one of four that I know existed. My version is a configuration based on the early Ausf L........ still need to fish little details on it. then cast 6 copies. The front mount for the tow shackles, well, I have been toying with the idea of putting T-34 tracks as supplemental armour, instead of the standard PZ III tracks....

I have seen a photo of a PZIV using T34 tracks as supplemental armor, so, it is certainly plausible.

The pics I see thru g-search show no rounded edges like what you have towards the bottom of the visor slot, etc. They all show straight or 90* angles. Bolts look good, but that rounded corner sticks out to me right away. Weld lines look good too. If it's gonna be a pain to fix, Ruck On, there's bigger things to move on to on this beauty! Cheers, Ski.

So, I hated my prototype for the Return Roller Mount. Well I S-canned it and just made new ones that I do like. And YES they are more me than historical.

Dave GOOD to hear from you, it's been awhile I'm still around. Just wading through the aftermath of the flu, getting called up for Grand Jury (did NOT get selected). I do thoroughly enjoy these updates of yours.

Thanks Dave...... Good to hear you're on the mend. I'm trying like heck to get her done by the end of March.... That would be roughly a calendar year. Making her the fast build ever for me
