Thank you mustang . But the theme is it is for sale on a hard standing in front of a workshops . Here is just a few pictures I have from my reference . also you can see the type of building I want to build, funny thing is I went for a walk on Sunday and there was a old vehicle sitting outside of a building with a for sale sign painted on it . Sorry about that ossie. As you can see , I must've missed that part of the commentary. Rock on brutha!
I'm definitely interested in how the building is gonna go.

Joe
thats ok , I am now at the design stage of the building and I have around 100 different options but have to plan the base so I don't end up with to much dead ground on the base . It great when I work on real military vehicles as it gives me ideas on how to represent them.
so watch this space e as they say

op Hi everyone well this week I been out and about looking at old farm buildings in my area . so this is my cardboard design windows and a door two be added and other detail , so the truck will sit on blocks or concrete the body on grass etc with a ivy on the wall of the building. so walls made of bags foam , tiles plastic card or cardboard , the doors out of [plastic card but the model will have a Back drop so next stage will be the building construction . SO gents do I have to move the model to dioramas or does it stay here . thank you all for the enthusiasm in my build to push me on ossie

Hi Everyone So what have I been doing to the model Well I decided to put the balsa Foam walls together and also decide to back the walls with plastic card and start to add a base to the roofs to there for giving me a firm bases to add the roof timbers and the individual tiles on top. Once the roof basic shape is done I will add a sheet of plastic to the back making it a strong structure which in turn will be added the black back ground maybe unsure yet. The doors will be built along with the window which will be built ready to put in once construction starts of all the details So when the basic structure is built I up date then prior to detailing. Hope you like it Ossie

Hi Everyone so the down side well I dropped the model and it fell on a corner and broke a bit off , so will add some filler and some ivy to cover it . so what have I done, well I have now added the back to the building , and added the patterns and added the slate tiles to this part of the roof . , I then annealed a peace of copper sheet and used it as flashing . the card used for the tiles is embossed unsure weather to lay normal tiles at 5mm x8 or to carry on and use slates unsure yet . so this is what I have done , nothing special . Hope you all like it Ossie

Hi Every one well I been busy today wet weather stopped the fishing I intended to do so progress on the model . ok , what have I done . well I put the wooden beam above where the doors would be , now I must say I forgot to plan for it so then had to add some plastic to bring the apex out so the tiles would fit correctly wj=hen I lay them. I have started to lay the battens as if I am building a Real roof using a guide from WELSH SLATE so we going to have slate roof . hope you like it so far still long way to go I just hope it turns out the way I want thanks all ossie
