Hi All Well Robs book put me straight on a few things and pointed me to something I had not done that was fill the seams well taking his advice from his book I slightly changed the way he done something . I recommend his Vallejo book I use it a lot now. so what have I done . well Rob uses Vallejo sandy paste because I did not have any I have tried my take on it so what did I do :- Vallejo air 71.141 IDF sand mixed with ready mixed polly filler add a touch of water and did what Rob did, I used a peace of plastic to put the mix on then rubbed it off with a damp cloth. So tomorrow I start to add colour to the building Ossie

Glad the book was of help to you. There are many ways to create various effects, just a matter of experimenting and finding what works best for you, and to achieve the results you are after. Brick work is looking great, and love the layout of the dio.

Hi Everyone So now the model jumps in big steps So base painted initially but had to scrap SOME paint off to glue the house on with EVO stick glue. The paper ivy was added using Kamizukuri diorama accessories which are laser cut and so much detail . So I glued the rough area where the raised over grown area will be, So tonight I will fix the body to the supporting logs it will sit . Nest will be to touch up the sides and back of the building with Tamiya Black paint Then I will add the the base surface to the rough area of the diorama using DAS Clay. And also add some texture around the base of the building with poly filler . So until next time I hope the you all like the little update. Ossie
