The sneering Landser term for it was "Panzeranklopfgeraet". That should translate into something like "tank-door-knocker-device"

So, after much internal debate, I finally came to my senses and decided that to do this build "correctly" I would have to include two of the 28.cm High Explosive rockets, which have the metal framed boxes....so I'll be working those next. Anyway here is a couple of pictures of the 3/4 complete Wooded Boxes for the 32.cm naplam rockets.

Don't worry about it. It's only been a couple of years since it was established I have a touch of the old Aspergers, so I don't always realise or pick up on cues that I'm behaving like a tw@... I appreciate the occasional reality check rather than being offended by them! O.K., I'll see your Ausf. B and raise you an Ausf. D that certainly has a Froggie turret (the gun is still only a 37mm, and a short one at that): panzerserra.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/sdkfz-251-ausf-d-with-apx-french-turret.htmlCheers, M

So here is a prototype of the becn seats for the 251. This MAY or MAY NOT be in the final "cut" as it were. Here's the funny HA HA, and something that I personally LOVE about builds.... THE RESEARCh. So in researching the interiors of "stuka zu fuss" 252/01's, I found an interesting factoid.... Some crews, removed all of the rear seating, keeping only the Driver and C-Driver seats. My best quess for this is to store/transport rocket boxes in that area....

Good morning PJ2. I had thought I had posted on your build. Must have been the meds from yesterdays procedure. Who knows, I just may have ordered a s*** ton of hobby stuff on line. Anywho, that being said, checking in on your builds is both eye candy and informative. The seats look great.

Dave THANKS for the kind post....
So as it turns out with the bench seats. I am only going to mount two.... In the vancant spaces where the other two would have been, I am going to mount my "signature" boxes either all metal, or wood. Since, the outside hull tool bins are accessable for the crew once the launch system is mounted.....

So, been working on the 28.cm HE rocket, as well as the MG shield, and the bench seats: Please note... the 28.cm HE rocket won't be fitted into the wooden boxes... it's I just don't have the metal frame box yet.
