I think the II and IV had green shade but not 100% about the Panther and Tigers. Once the upper hull is in place you can't see much of it anyways lol.

Spent this raining day working on the Panther. I thought I only had a few bits still to add but there was a ton of crap still to assemble and paint. Still cleaning ammo but should have them done tonight and maybe paint tomorrow, then install in the sponson racks.

Yup very tight in there, especially now with the rest of the ammo rounds in place. I didn't put all the ammo in the sponsons, left the bottom rear open. With the upper hull in place you can't see all the ammo so I guess I could have left a lot more out and saved a lot of time.

lol I started a new thread on this one but deleted it cause I had already started this one. Really need to get my head out of my a** lolol.

ok the update. Working on the Panther here and there and she's slowly getting there.
Tracks and wheels have primer and base colors applied. Need to finish some of the small parts: tools, exhaust etc to be painted separate to ease in masking the camo.

After finally setting up my new work area it was time to slap some camo on the Panther. Next up will be some filters and washes. Debating on doing a worn winter white wash !!

I hear you, working with clear parts is always a pain...very tough to tell without priming/painting to gauge true fit/seams depending!

Well I finally have my camera back and took some test shots to get the settings down. Pics are sharper and subtle effects can be seen.

Wow, the transition from start to nearly finished is astounding, Rob. I love the faded paint work and weathering. It's been so long since I've touched a piece of armor I've forgotten how much is involved, doeeee.
