I am late to the game here but caught up quickly. I love all the detail in this kit. Too bad much of it is lost when completed. You did a very convincing job on the painting and weathering.

Cheers fellas. Good to have my camera back so I can better pics from now on. I'll be getting back to the panther this week and hope to have the lower hull and wheels weathered so I can mount the tracks. A possible small base for the Panther.

Less is more sometimes, gives a realistic look IMHO.

Excellent veggies, and ground work. Did you by chance use any coconut shavings for ground debris?
Ya gotta tell me how you're going to ship this kitty without Magilla Gorilla destroying it in the process, Rob. This is a delicate vignette, would you mind zapping a pic of the packaging you use?
I've had major issues just traveling across state for a contest, let alone trust the shipping process. Even screwed from underneath, on foam, in a huge plastic tub and I still had issues. I'm curious to see how you're going to do this.

I'm curious to see how you're going to do this. Steve for the last ten years I have shipped/mailed all my models to clients using pillow stuffing. I'll try to remember to take a few pics of the packing process, but it's really simple. I also try not to have too many large delicate parts etc that will get damaged, and if there are any I keep them loose and packed separate in bubble wrap in a separate bag. The model is loosely wrapped in clear cling wrap plastic to avoid pillow stuffing from getting onto the model or breaking off parts. If any parts do get broken off they are containing in the clear wrap. I've only had a couple of models get slight damage in shipping, mainly due to too many fragile parts and of course postal handling (Magilla Gorilla).

Depends on the setting what I'll use, but basically it can be anything from ground up dried leaves, spices, chopped up moss, chopped up hemp rope fibers etc etc...

Thx for the packing intel, greatly appreciated, and the ground work. I'll have to try that packing method next time around.

The colors add a bit of a "pop" to the scene, great contrast. Beauty!
