Post a picture of your current or most recent build. I have 4 currently underway 1) I wanted a paint mule to practice on so I threw together Monogram's M48. I made no effort to make this a decent model it has gaps and mold seams everywhere. However, it is serving its purpose nicely. This is where I've been spending bench time recently. 2) I had this old AMT kit in my stash for years. When I returned to the bench a couple of months ago, this is the first thing I built to knock dust off. Waiting on some paints to arrive before I go further painting. 3) Another stash build, this one had some PE and resin additions. I have to finish cleaning it up for painting and I haven't decided how I want to paint it yet. I've actually toyed with painting it in Late war German ambush camouflage. Mainly as a practice for #4 #4 Just beginning the build of Academy's 1/25 Panther G. I haven't done much yet other than filling in the holes in the pan and putting in the suspension. I have PE on order for this that I'm waiting to arrive before I go any further. I've been researching to determine what tank I want to build. I'm thinking something from late war in the ambush pattern. Maybe the tank in the photograph below.

Still got my Camaro out on the bench in primer stages. Just waiting for a good block of time to put some color coat on it. Otherwise, working on other items of the same build prepping those parts for installation after the body is all finished up.

This is what will be my future man "cave", or as I call it: the studio. By the end of the third quarter I hope to have it set up. For the moment it's a nightmare of a workshop for all other house renovations and a construction site. The walls and floor do look decent in the picture, but believe me, they are not. I have to take out the floor and then rip out the carpet underneath, grind and fill the floor before cleanly laying out the panels again. But the hallway and the fitness room goes first before I can turn my attention here.

That is a great space! How are you going to exhaust your spray booth?

I've tried a commercial spray booth in the past, but was less than impressed. So it became never part of my working style. I wear protective mask and rely on opening the windows afterwards. Spraying a can of water into the room before airbrushing helps to bind the paint-fog.

Brian, I have the space, but I'm lacking the money! Perhaps at a later stage I will come up with something of my own, but that's to be seen.

A dream, my wife lets me have this. And it's not the end yet, there will be another workshop in the basement for woodworking, too.

Cant't tell you that yet, but my guess is would be cheaper to buy a new one than shipping this to Germany? Also not sure about the electrical connector. I think we have a different standard from US for our houses.

I think we have a different standard from US for our houses. Given the size and weight, shipping to Germany would probably cost 4x the price of just buying a new one locally.

WWII Panzer IV H, German Tank. Pro bono donation as a 1st Place Award at a major Advanced Squad Leader game tournament in August. Will be on a diorama base. WWII P51D Mustang, American Fighter. An old albatross, now making headway,. WWII Carro Armato M13/40, Italian Tank. I have no idea why I’m building this. Vietnam War, American Huey, 15mm, for a wargame I’m developing. Interstellar’s “Ranger”. This is the least worked-on kit on the bench, currently chopping out the windows to replace with dark colored windows from within. Stargate SG-1 Temple, for a 28mm miniatures game I am developing. It’s an old playset that is being converted from what you see in the pictures below, into a more realistic landscape. I’ve tons of accessories that go with and around it, including the Stargate, and a lot of Egyptian structures, like obelisks. I’ll be scratchbuilding a bunch of things too, like a MALP and Sarcophagus Reg3neration Module. …the idea I’m shooting for is something along these lines… My Workshop, in my furnace room. Wonderful space but in some serious need of organizing and clean out under and around the main workbench. Looking to get these done before end of Summer.
