So I couldn't find a topic on pets, so figured I might as well make one. This is Aaron, my nearly 5 year old Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix. I never had dogs before, but always been around GSDs and other shepherds so I somewhat knew what to expect. He's not your stereotypical shepherd, loves his cuddles, toys and treats to the point where if someone comes to visit, he'll grab all his toys and shows them to whoever is sitting on the couch. Wondering what pets you guys have,

I don't believe I've ever seen a Malinois/Dutch Shepherd before. Good lookin' dog Lucas.
John, a true rarity to see a dog and cat get along that well.
Perry: That's a feat to have a big dog like that live to the age that he is. You must take pretty dang good care of him.

I love animals but I have a very soft spot in my heart for dogs. Truly man's best friend. We have 3 dogs and 4 cats, yes, we run a zoo. We have two doxy's, the darker of the two is the alpha dog of the house. This little guy has no fear of anything, he will take on bigger dogs without hesitation. When he was 6 months old he chased a massive armadillo straight into its hole and went in after it. We also have a 3-year-old female Great Pyrenees, Sophie. She is the sweetest kindest soul you can imagine in a big dog. All of our other animals love her and she loves them. The cats give her head butts and kisses all the time. I think it's because they know she'll protect them with her life if necessary. Here are 3 of our 4 cats All of our animals love each other, its truly a peaceable kingdom.

Yessir he is, had a piece of cheese to hold him like that. He absolutely hates his picture taken, tried to take a selfie with him and he liked to tip my chair over. The GSD on the otherhand is a true ham, get the phone ready and he's all" this my good side? Hows my ears? Love both of them like no tomorrow.

His sister REALLY shows it Moe the mostly white one is a good boy. Mini (much bigger than Moe) the younger one is however NOT! Here is the annual Catzzila rampage

Great thread Lucas. Thank You for starting it. My wife and I are die hard pet lovers. It is a real joy to see everyone's wonderful companions. We currently do not have any dogs as we do not have adequate time for one. That will change when my wife retires in a couple of years. So, for now we are blessed with these nutty characters. This is Thera, the princess of all our domain. We rescued her just over 5 yrs ago. Shortly after adopting her she decided that my spray booth would make an appropriate throne. Ever since then it costs me an immense tribute of treats for permission to airbrush. Th This is Scirocco, our Sulcata tortoise that we fostered (supposedly) some 8 yrs ago. He was about 10 lbs then and now weighs in at around 50 lbs and still growing. He is actually a real hoot to have around as he is loaded with personality. We are still in search of a place we can rehome him to as he is easily going to out live us let alone out grow us. We also have 6 other turtles that live in tubs in our living room.

It would appear that model guys are also huge pet fans.
Should we have a "Find the Pet Hair in the Paint" group build?

Our last one Great Pyrenese/Lab mix, lost him a couple years back. Very likely to be the last one; it's too hard on us when they die

You all have great looking pets. Lost this guy about a year and half ago. But the place was lonesome so found these (bonded pair) clowns. Red one is a Chihuahua, and the black and white is a Japanese Chin-mix. They have been here since mid-February and have gotten into running the place just fine. The cat is still reserving judgment, but she doesn’t like very many “others” anyway -so’s it’s OK.
