Some wing tops on but I'm worried as there is a gap between the wing and the fuselage and it is springy, so I'm going to have to get some advice on this Still got camera issues so there are shadows on the photo  |

Fantastic work you are doing on the big spit. Very sharp painting and assembly. I'm glad to see this is going together rather trouble free for you. Especially on such a large kit with numerous detail parts.

Yikes!! I've been up against this a time or two. Maybe some small shims between the wing and the fuselage to create a wedge effect that will hold the wing where you want it in relation to the fuselage and then fill in the rest of the gaps with similar shims and glue? This worked for me on my 190 A-8 build.

Sorry to hear about the weather where you're at but it's to see this one back in progress. Missed that last update but it looks like you handled that gap nicely Ian! Sometimes I put things off thinking the worst and when I finally do get around to negotiating the obstacle, I find, as you did, that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to get through it. Off to a great start on that engine bud. NICE!!!!

19 years ago I had a stroke and as a result I can not use my right hand properly, I have learnt to use mainly my left had to build models which is why there are lots I can't do I'm afraid

This is looking great so far Ian. This is gonna be one heckuva nice paint job with all the prep work that you're putting into it. This is one thing I learned in my time away from aircraft building a few years back and in prepping for the gloss paint jobs that get put into auto builds. Prep work is everything.
