Cheers mate, it pays off to take your time and do it properly, I masked the bottom of the body and seconds before I sprayed it I thought no, I'm not happy with that bit, so I did it again
Got to wait till Tuesday till my white tack gets here for the camo so I'll be doing other bits to keep busy

I didn't know they done a new line. I've got a friend who writes for SAM magazine and he told me the colour numbers to get Yes, a few years ago they released some new RAF colors among their extensions of the original paint line: XF-81, XF-82, and XF-83. I don’t recall if it was for their new 1/32 Spitfire or not, as they did new IJNAF colors with their 1/32 Zeros. |

Yup that's them This was the bit that was scaring me the most about the build as I've heard people test fitted and couldn't get it back out and breaking it, but it's all in so tomorrow I can get the engine in  |

That camo DID turn out good Ian. VERY well done buddy!! I can see where the engine mounts and what looks to be engine coolant pipes would tend to get stuck upon test fitting into the fuselage. Jeez!! This is some really good progress on this beastie!!

The only bit to be covered will be the bottom panel, the rest will be on show, and all the guns in the wings will be on show

Good day in the mancave saw the engine all finished, exhausts in, bottom cover done, all touched up, wings masked and first coat of trainer yellow added. The propeller is all done but no photo, as are all the bits for the wheels and struts and covers  |
