Gotta soft spot for Hornets . Have 3 Meng E,F and the G in the hanger with a ton of aftermarket.
But my most favorite F4 Phantom II .

Thank you! I have a lot more Hornets in the stash. I have one of each version (C,D,E,F, and G) and probably more coming.

Missed it when you posted up the finish up of both of these Mike (Medicman71). Great efforts on both of these and while they may not have gotten any awards at the show they are still works of art IMO. You done good brutha.

Thank you! Well the judging was very inconsistent across all of the aircraft categories. I'm not trying to make excuses, but the one that had more mistakes placed above the one that had virtually none.

Nice, you got some recognition! There must be some build elements on this one that they thought were really good. Maybe it was just the cracked canopy that kept you from “medaling” as they say in the olympics. I’d give it a good once-over, see what you feel you did really good at and keep that in mind for your next build. One of the guys on here has a saying about making the next build better than the last 👍

They both show really well that’s for sure. Love those tail flashes and the paint you did to go with them!

Yeah. We changed to gold, silver, bronze for this years show and there was supposed to be some feedback on the paper but there was nothing on both of them. I saw a few things that I guess they got me for but man that's really nit picking.
