Nice looking builds gents! Lyle just keep going until it looks right to you. The blade looks great! Thanks Brent. My problem right now is I get tired weathering this thing. There are about eleventy-three gazillion (technical term) pieces that need to be dirtied up. Since the Ambulance is done, I'll get back on this one.

Okay...look up DORK in the dictionary and my picture is there. Is this like secret code to get into the room with the ice cream? I'm dense. Okay, now you've lost me. Are you truly having issues with that video?...cuz I'm not. Pretty good clip for a great builder with great techniques.

Looks great Lyle! All that matters in the end is that you are happy with your results of newly tried techniques. I think your weathering has come along wonderfully with your last two builds. I'm looking forward to seeing this one all buttoned up!

I don't know if you folks have the same foibles as I, but towards the end of a build, the more I handle it (no matter how carefully)...things happen. Hence the ripper on the back end will not be there. This is a "done" as it will be, until I find the decal sheet to add the radiator grill decal. 'Till then! No, I don't have a photo booth thingy. Honestly, I don't know where I'd put one. There was light on the engine space ..... This really wasn't a bad kit or a bad build. The instructions (for me) were terrible as far as how to place thigns. A lot of head scratching, head shaking, #$%^&*( utterances, etc. I did like doing this one. As for the weathering. . . a whole new experience for me. I guess it is ADHD or something, but I get so far and then I'm done with it. So, things suffer. I did learn some things, I think. Thanks for looking in and beat it up nicely if you want.

That looks great Lyle! Your weathering makes it look realistically used. Don't let your grandkids think that it's a Tonka Toy and take it out to play with

I think you've outdone yourself with some very good weathering going on as well as good detailing throughout. Looking forward to seeing this with the radiator decal up front. Not bad Lyle.....not bad at all.

Well done Lyle, the level of weathering and grime on this looks fine to me, great job! Thank you, Dean. Still trying to figure out getting clumps of mud/dirt on tracks. Sawdust or ground up kitty litter and white glue mixed up into lumps and slapped randomly on the tracks and wheels. Paint with your earth tone and you have clumps of mud. Your current effects on the tracks rock by the way. Just the right amount of worn metal and rust. If you haven't completely finished it I would recommend taking a black marker and doing all the control knobs, hydraulic lines and the filters and caps on the engine. A dirty black wash on the engine would highlight things better as well. Those things leak oil at an unbelievable rate. This will break up some of the yellow.

At one time, the knobs were black...I am finished with it for now. These are good suggestions and will bring it to a bit more realistic look. So, I will keep it in mind. I need it to sit for a while! If you know what I mean.
