Here I am trying NOT to do GB's as the last two I ran fell apart. This one is long and I need that time. I have an old Airfix 1/24 Bf109-E3 and it needs lots of scratch detail work. I already have some AM for it, but it needs way more. I'd like to come along if I may.

Now I am in (or will be when they start) 4 on this forum alone but am very optimistic that I will do them all. I even have an unusual idea for one that I will run in the future but we will let some of these get well rolling first.

That’s what we all want her to say. But she usually says “Another one?!!! Where the hell are gonna put it when you’re done?!”

I made the bottom of Godzilla semi transparent and increased the size of the text for BSGB2024 on this one.

Now that works, I'm good with it. Lightening up the water really makes the red pop. So if we agree were does it go for holding?

I like the images themselves and the layout. Just not a fan of the font. But who am I to complain haha. I should really start utilizing photoshop again so I could be of more help.

Ok, I’m in with my Trumpeter 1/350 scale USS Kitty Hawk! So far I’ve only worked on the base and the tug boats for it. I’ll document the ship itself here. I can’t miss an Armornutii inaugural GB!

Ok Chris, got up posted...no more work until the 2nd of Jan . Welcome aboard. BTW if you want to roll in with your shuttle project, given the complexity AND SIZE you are welcome, let me know. I'll add it but ya gotta keep your WIP thread.

+1... he's in the badge, someone's gotta build him! I've been looking to build a Godzilla for a while. This kit is supposedly 16 inches tall. Looks like it needs a ton of work.

Not that I wouldn't want to post it here but since my buddy C Bowling is the lead on it I don't want to have something that may be in competition or duplicated in separate threads - know what I mean?

I forgot to post a pic of my GB kit: It's Giant Robo, from the anime series that ran from 1992 to 1998. Some may dimly remember "Johnny Socko and His Flying Robot" on TV back in 1967-1968. This Giant Robo is Makoto Kobayashi's take on the silly live action hero, reimagined in a way only Kobayashi could do it. The story goes Kobayashi used Arnold Schwarzenegger for inspiration for Robo's stoic face. At around 10" tall, this kit is huge by mecha model standards, so it fits the GB theme well. And besides, with a name like "Giant Robo", how can it not? Construction is all snap-fit, so I test fit the included 1/20 figure of Ginrei: The other 1/20 figure in the box is Daisaku, aka Jonny Socko. But with his 1970s Japan standard-issue hot pants, he's way down on the priority list!

Tcoat - I seriously doubt it! If he drops his drink, the blonde waitresses who take their trays and spin their way across the floor would duck and scatter, no doubt. Project510 - In the meantime, enjoy the opening to the Western intro to the original Giant Robo: www.youtube.com/watch?v=x74GTv9BylQ

I think I am in love already... Now, what do you suppose makes a lady choose a super high-cut China dress when she gets up in the morning, knowing that she has to run around and fight giant robots? I guess it must be the same kind of thinking that the boy character has, with his super tighty "short shorts".

Walk like an Egyptian....good music! Yea I'm old SO WHAT Ilike what I like I am also a child of the 80's and still love the music. But I didn't have cable when I was a kid, so I had to go to my friend's house to watch MTV. You know, back when they actually played music videos 24/7. As an aside, you know the old saying about people remembering stuff with rose tinted glasses? (ELTON JOHN!!!) My friends used to record the good videos and make compilations, which we would then watch. That gave me the impression that all the music videos were awesome. But now with the power of the internet, I can rewatch all the videos and realize... Wow, a lot of the videos were AWFUL! But Susanna Hoffs looked great. My female high school friends all hated that thing she did with her eyes never looking into the camera, but all the guys loved it. Oink-oink, we were all a bunch of little piggies.
