Or sea wich include ww2 and modern.
What would you prefer
Air?

   Heelo good people hope this pist finds everyone chomping at the bit to fire off this epic GB. HOLD ON   only a few more weeks.
    For anybody interested please post here and I will put you on the roster. As we get underway if you choose to build a second...third....tandum...bear in mind each participant is requested to start thier own WIP thread, individuals may post any and all updates on one or more builds there. After we get started I might put up a place holder for folks to post FINISHED builds only, this appears to be a popular and easy way to manage completions and comments.
    I know, how long can this guy type?  LOL  as everyone has seen there is an AMAZING participation badge provided by jeaton01...gotta figure out how how to get that..... That is ready now and may be displayed in your signatures. Another member is designing genre specific badge that may be received after first posted build is complete.

How about larger aircraft in smaller scales, like a 1/48 SR-71 for example?  OTOH...I guess I am expecting a 1/32 A-1J possibly for Christmas, so I could go that way too.

   Hi eagle, I have been waffling for some time on how to incorperate those BIG 1/48 scale aircraft. Yet come to a solid conclusion other than I think it really is up to how big is the actual aircraft. I think that the SR-71 meets my idea, not the published criteria, so I would LOVE to see an SR in the build. Of course if the model elfs smile brightly on you that A-1 would be awesome. Let me know one or the other...or both .

  Eaglecash has brought forward a valid point that I as moderator have been waffling on since the begining. 1/48 aircraft. I have specifically stated 1/32 or larger....seems that might exclude those who might have a 1/48 C-130 setting at the ready.
 So perhaps to bring more folks in  1/48 scale 3 or more engines...before you ask yes the old revellogram B-1 hits the mark.
    Guide lines will be updated. Thank you for helping be clarify a tickleish line.

Cool!  Count me in for a 1/48 Revell SR-71 then.  Might also be able to get the A-1J done in the time allowed, but I'll have to play that by ear.

But maybe I'll build the Stug III with winter tracks in 1/16th first.

I do have this recently added to the stash. Not sure if I can finish it in time, but I can certainly try. Its a small scale, yes, but it it the largest model in the build also.
