It's looking good, Paddy, but that back end does surely look fragile. Bamboo or brass would be my approach, but in truth I think I will walk away from this one! EZLIne would not be too good for the back framing as it is too stretchy to add any rigidity. If you could find carbon fiber rod small enough it might be the best. I have some glass filament stuff that might be good there but the safety warnings about it are scary, it can shatter into itty bits when you cut it so I haven't used it yet.

Hi John The answer is probably brass and solder it. The problem is the verticals are shaped like the wing struts so would be hard to replicate. Maybe brass longitude's and the kit verticals and some "magic" glue :-) I am currently adding the rudder and elevator control wires, rigging the undercarriage and thinking about weathering.

Just a tease here to wind up this thread , I need to give it a flat coat and trim a few edges and will put it on the completed WWI thread as soon as i have some pictures. Many thanks as always for your encouragement and help... As a newbie here and a forigner I have felt really welcome here so thank you all.
