Painted the cab lights, I used some scrap decal strips to make the “black” weather seals.

What did you use for the brightwork and how do you go about painting around it? Looks like you did it early

What did you use for the brightwork and how do you go about painting around it? Looks like you did it early I just use bare metal foil and wipe it off with Tamiya lacquer thinner after each paint layer with a qtip

I will say that definitely looks good James but decal strips?? You must've used a LOT of Microsol to get those cals to wrap around those lights and stay put.

Looks like you have the rust the right places. Weathering looks great with the modulated paint work you have done so far

You really know how to bring out the well-worn effects. What are your methods for getting this look James?

You really know how to bring out the well-worn effects. What are your methods for getting this look James? I use Oil paint washes in layers. Then use a Qtip dampened in orderless paint thinner (Mona Lisa one) and roll it around on the surface to get the look I want. So I basically paint using a Qtip instead of a brush lol.. also just flicking medium thinned oil paint to get little dots and whatnot. Nothing fancy

You would totally rock the house if you ever picked up an armor subject as you've got some good methods in place already for that genre. lol
