There's really no room to show the open box and spread it out on my bench, but here's my opening shots.

Look at that big old beast. This is going to be an epic one to follow along with. I've always wanted a Tiger ever since the first time I watched Kelly's Heroes...Ironic, since those were T34s. Lol

Love it. Got one of these in the stash myself. I bought a nice glass case from Bases by Bill to display it in someday. Look forward to seeing what you’re gonna do with it!

So I jumped in with the tracks very easy assembly, once separated from the sprue they did need to be cleaned up,no biggie, the rod pushes right in,and the size of the teeth make them easy to handle.Once you find your groove, the process is easy, just a little repetitive. This is about 1/2 of one run, about 50 links, the comparison tank is a 1/35 Panzer 38

Looking good so far, were the tracks easy to assemble? Very, just had to clean off the sprue attachments, the size made them easy to assemble,no tools.

This scale seems to be growing in popularity very fast. Well its easier to handle, the parts are huge but,you also need more room to work, but it will also mean more glue, and paint.

For the size of the tracks do they move freely? It looks like they were following the contour of the sag in the middle of the instructions nicely

NICE!!! But how can you hide it from your wife now? It was her anniversary present to me last year. I read that as it was her last anniversary present to you. I was like no kidding, she had to move afterwards because there was no room in the house. 1/16 kits are deceptively large. Twice the size of 1/35 doesn't sound as big as 1/16 really is. Did she also get you a 4 post lift for the model bench for building this?

Yes,the tracks are workable and they move easily.
For me 1/16 is very large this is just going to be a one shot deal

What a beast! Could be one of the funner group builds just because of the absurdity of the largeness!
