Will take me a week or so to gather all the pics I would need. Not sure if there would be space on the server for all of them anyway.

Dora: Do YOU have way too many unfinished models sitting around your workbench? Boots: I do. Dora: Meeeee tooo! Amodel Beriev Be-10 in 1/72: Mikro Mir Kawanishi KX3-01 in 1/350(!): Trumpeter KV-2 in 1/35: Tamiya M3 Stuart in 1/35: Bronco Seehund in 1/35: Mikro Mir Schertel Hydroplane in 1/35: Wave Seapig in 1/20: Bandai MSM-03 Gog in 1/144: And finally, an attempt to scratchbuild a 1/20 MaK Falke, before Hasegawa upset the apple cart and released a nice injected kit:

Tcoat, Nah, I have too many mecha projects as it is. I just need to FINISH them! An abortive attempt at scratchbuilding an A.D. Police K-11 powered suit from Bubblegum Crisis: I'll have to completely redo this one if I pick it back up. Too many mistakes. Maybe scale it up from 1/20 to 1/12. Another aborted project, this time a Makoto Kobayashi "Super Heavy Land Combat Type" Gundam: Again, too many mistakes to push it across the finish line. I do like the silhouette though, so maybe upscale it to 1/100. Not a physical shelf queen, but one that has been sitting in my brain for over 30 years: I think this will be my last attempt at a large scratchbuilt mecha model.

I have too many shelf queens to list them all. But here are a couple. The first is the reason my queens all have their own case. It is a Zveda Black Swan that I started in 2015. When I decided to get back to it, it had so much dust on it that I spent over a day cleaning it up. So I bought a case to keep the dust off. Next is a MFH 1/12th Porsche 908 that I started in Nov 2019. And I just noticed in the background there is a Porsche 935/78 The youngest queen is a Williams FW07 that I started in Mar 2022. Then there are the engines to a Gurney Eagle and a Lotus 49.

At least 12 more but here are some I just happened to have pictures of already. M88 that got stalled at paint about 6 years ago. I don't even remember why.
Lindberg 42 Ford. This is getting ressurected for the group build in Jan
Poor guy has been waiting for his glider to get painted for about 10 years now.
1/32 Swordfish 90% done and then just packed up. Not sure where the machine gun and torpedo even went tp.

Ok here ya go. Seven shelf queens to finish. The Global Hawk needs seams and gaps fixed. The XR-8 needs the same work. The Phantom needs the rest of the paint stripped on the bottom, reprimed and painted. The MiG-29 needs some seams fixed and the Skyray needs.....well I'm not sure what to do with that one. The Egg Shuttle just needs decals and there's an X-wing that needs primed and painted.

I have only one, "set", cause I haven't built another curio cabinet, otherwise this would be done by now. I'm kinda anal retentive when it comes to leaving anything undone, it drives me bonkers. 200mm, so space is critical. "Easy Pickins"

Poor guy has been waiting for his glider to get painted for about 10 years now. Does anyone remember the Calgonite dishwasher detergent commercial from the 1970s? The one with the "Spotmaker", always spotting and streaking dishes? www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCupueEFgD8I always thought it was the Green Goblin doing side work to earn extra money.

OK, it's time to bring this subject up! Thanks to george for giving us the idea. So tell us how many shelf queens do you have currently and post your pictures here. At least I think posting this will help me stay motivated to finish them one day... I have about 6+ shelf queens right now... 1. Tamiya 1/35 Wrecked Afghan T-55A: Started in 2017... building stalled. 2. Bronco 1/35 British Jeep & trailer along with 9 paratroopers: Started in 2020 (COVID Lockdown)... ready to be primed and painted... BUT painting those figures scares me now. 3. Tamiya 1/35 Sturmtiger- Started in 2020 (COVID Lockdown): Started in 2020 (COVID Lockdown)... building stalled. 4. Border 1/35 British Crusader: Started in 2021... need to finish painting! Now you show us YOURS! Andy, with the greatest of respect.....IS THAT ALL?!?!?!?😉🤣 it will take a week to dig all mine out!!😭😭😭😭 But I will do so!!

Only kit I have tucked away is this Great Sabre Zoid kit. It was my first build after my son was born. I had many nights where I would sit down and sand 1 piece and decide bed was more important. When I finally got to the painting phase (Zoid like Gundam you typically have to completely disassemble to paint) I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Model planes are much less of a pain in the butt.

They didn't hear him pull up on the Harley? They deserve what they get. Actually, Tcoat, they never knew he was there when they showed up, the Ranger hiding in a cemetery. The plan is for a cemetery on the Ranger side, but it hasn't been built yet. I'm thinking some chow or K-rats on the hog to show he was taking a break. I keep meaning to go get that wildly expensive wood my wife wants and get the cabinet started. I don't even know where my "Pont Du Hoc" vignette will go when it's finished, it's getting that critical

This is my oldest shelf queen, Monogram's classic 1/48 SBD started decades ago, and sidelined for one reason or another they several moves. It's had some small bits such as the antenna mast broken while sitting in storage, and I need to come up with a suitable replacement... I have done a lot of cutting and replacing original details along the way Another old shelf queen started decades ago, ESCI 1/48 A-4E that was also damaged while I was off on deployment overseas, parts were lost, and left as is until I started to repair the damage recently Revell's original 1/32 Spitfire that I was adding much of the missing detail to on the interior ESCI 1/35 BMP-1 that I was adding interior detail for viewing thru opened hatches Monogram's old USS Ramsey that I was improving with PE and scratch work Hobbycraft 1/48 Vampire F.1 that I had nearly completed basic construction upon when it was tioome to pack up and move Revell's 1/32 F-4G Wild Weasel that I was making substantial detail additions to when I lost steam... Lindberg's USS DeLong DE that I am building for a close friend as the ship named after his great uncle USS Edwin A Howard. Lots of work needed on this one to make it look like it should. There are a few more, but either I never took photos of them, or they are held for ransom by Photobucket in their extortion scheme.
