Yeah, mine I have envisioned in a diorama set up in a hull down position with several Iraqis surrendering. These were my inspiration. Figured somebody had to clean up the mess so when I picked up the M-88 I knew it would be standing by.

I even scratch built the angle iron jerry can racks and just need to install them...

Here we go This is my DML Me262 Mistel. The Bomb still needs a lot of seem work. The piloted one is my old V056 nightfighter that is going to be painted as part of the Mistel. The original went flying across the room years ago

Guys, I am really enjoying your posts about your shelf queens! My parents from Florida are here for a week to celebrate Christmas early so my free times are very limited now. Thank you for keeping this thread alive and running. I am hoping that it will help us feel motivated to finish some especially for me! For many years I only build one kit at a time but things changed for last 5 years when I was dealing with no mojo that I started 7-8 builds without success.

Already working on a 10 year old build and have another two lined up ready to go. Am off from next Tuesday until Jan 2 and have no plans at all except for Christmas day and boxing day so will have scads of free time to knock out a few before starting the 2024 GB projects.

That's GREAT to know! I promised myself to finish one of those before I start may Fw190 for our GB. So that's my incentive to finish something...

I'm not sure when the last time it was produced. I haven't seen any for a long time. They may be some on eBay for scalper prices. Edit- I just checked, there are a handful of them, but ¡¡¡DAMN!!! they are expensive.

Dead or Alive - You Turn Me Round. Now THAT is a horrifying video. I liked the song but I was aghast when I finally saw the video on Youtube.

Video killed the radio star Neal ... quite literally... LOL! Between Dead or Alive & Romeo Void it was better to hear each singer as opposed to seeing them...

Ha ha, I like Video Killed the Radio Star (the song, not the actual video, despite it being the first one to play on MTV). And Romeo Void? Never Say Never! Both are on my playlists. Another great “not suitable for video” video is Separate Ways by Journey. Steve Perry is so not camera friendly. I’m so glad HD TV was not around at the time. And “air instruments” do not befit a major band, it just looks ridiculous. Oops, going off the rails now. Back to shelf queens. Queen was awesome all around though. Freddy Mercury was 100% awesome all of the time!
