I haven't deserted you all here  ... I ordered the replacement body shell on the 26th Jan.... its now the 16th March and no sign of the part. As soon as it arrives normal service will be resumed... |

That's really remarkable work. I built this kit last year and had much the same complaints - the plug wires being one of them - but in the end it makes a nice display model. Unfortunate that a lot of the detail is hidden when all the bodywork goes on. The kit is a step up from Italeri's other stuff though, which in fairness wouldn't be difficult.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

3 months on and i finally have a body shell so got it up to speed with some decals and weathering :-) (note to self, dont dry the paint on the radiator)   |

Steaming ahead now as all the ancillaries were finished and ready for the body so should wrap the hole thing up Tomorrow Attachment point for the car to base  Body shell fits really well, the seat is removable to access the attachment nut to the base in case it ever needs to be removed  all i need to do now is get the hood to fit and make some straps to hold it in place :-) |

I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed following along on this build paddy. Every time you build one of these beauties I get a real charge out of seeing even the tiniest details that you throw at them right down to the lock wire on the bolt heads. Love the added details and weathering on this one and the tool carrier with the tools are a nicely added touch as well. Beautiful work from beginning to end bud.
