Tamiya Mazda MX-5 Roadster

This one is another Christmas present. This time for my Mom. She has a 1:1 2022 Miata in Machine Grey and she absolutely loves it. I figured since I could replicate it in scale that she would enjoy it. Not much to say about this kit. It is modern Tamiya at it's best. A curbside, yes, but everything they do include is extremely detailed. And it is just complicated enough to be satisfying, but not frustrating at all. At some point I have managed to ping a door handle off. No idea where or when so no hope finding it. But if it does turn up then I know where the kit is if I need to add it. Other than that I am relatively happy with it. I'd recommend this kit to anyone that likes these cars. And I'll leave a link to the WIP thread as well.

Thank you! I'd imagine she'll still prefer her actual car, but at least in the winter time she can look at the shelf and remember it exists. She shuts it down totally when it gets cold so it's in hibernation until spring.

I quite agree. This is my fifth time doing it now. They are the best gifts. People are always excited about them. I'm out of ideas for them now but that's ok.
