Ohhhh THunderbolt. I love that plane adt70hk James It's funny I'm not into jets and the more modern they get, the less I like....not that is in the least bit modern....but there is something I like about the Thunderbolt. There is a slight downside with this one in that there are no munitions but, the next best which had them was more than I was willing to pay. ATB Andrew

Mike that PB4Y book looks quite interesting.... another undersung area of WWII history... Well, yesterday after AMPS here, it was the monthly visit to Andy's where I picked up these items The Egyptian and Syrian Sands will come in handy on some future projects, and one can never have enough Value Gear...

Been working on this 1/48 Hobby Boss F8F-2 and she's been ready for paint and decals for a week or so Came in today I'm doing yellow C103. Great color splash on an otherwise monochromatic scheme and the stars and bars don't have the red stripe which I found interesting. And yes - that is blue (couldn't tell by the cap!)

Wow, what awesome acquisitions guys! The First of June I got to go to the San Diego Model Expo and with the help of a friend, I got these excellent additions. First, in the raffle, I won these tools: I also got this mini display, perfect for my small scale: After that, I picked up these three Grand Prizes: These are the purchases I was able to get with leftover Easter money from friends and the help of another friend who came with me to the show: First are these ancient "planes on a stick" that were first issued in the 1960's. There';s no interior or landing gear; they sit on a stand. These are both 1/72 scale as well: : Next is this ancient Eidai 1/72 scale kit of the Cessna 172. I got this since my brother learned to fly in one of these: Even though I already have one of these, I couldn't pass this up. I looked inside and there are two complete kits inside; and the seller had no idea and only charged me for one! Deal! Another great score from the same guy: ' Finally, I saw this and just had to have it: And that is all I got at the San Diego Model Expo. I'm so thrilled! Looks like I'll be busy for a few days.....

Duke, I gotto go check my stash! Except for the 172 all those kits you bought are there. I sold one of the 727's last year for near $200 and still have another. Hoping some 3d printed engines come around for it, the resin engines in the kit are too small. A quick scan and print would fix that!

Just preordered the Eduard Royal Class 1/72 P-51 Dual Combo. I've procrastinated with the Royal Class boxing enough and finally broke down and did it
