Jeez, three pages of new posts since my last visit... that's NOT a good sign! My local club had its annual white elephant gift exchange event and it was too much fun seeing members fighting over few kits. I was so happy to bring home this... When I travel, I like to visit local hobby shops... grabbed this while I was in Orlando for work conference. I am positive that you are responsible for my decision to buy another wingy kit. Good stuff Andy!!

Afternoon all So I have managed to go five weeks without buying a kit, something of an achievement given last year's haul! But I'm still picking up a few bits and pieces. The mask is for the new Airfix ME-410 that came out last November but they have only just become available.....I was though short of the minimum order value hence the Luftwaffe Swastikas....I'm not normally fussed when kits don't include them but as I have some like that I decided to make up the order with something I can make some use of, and decals were the only way of doing that without incurring any P&P from the seller. As for the book.....I'm currently reading Stephen E Ambrose's book on Pegasus Bridge. In it he says this is the best on the Remagen Bridge battle........we've off course all seen the film , so I thought it would be interesting to find out the true story....second hand for a sensible price. ATB Andrew

We have this in two versions, can a G3M in 1/48 be far behind? Hit my porch today.

You know you have a great wife when she points out a model jet kit amongst a ton of Gundam kits and said you should get it. Only paid $25 for it.

That is a sweet kit yo picked up John. I've been strongly considering snagging one of the 1/72 versions.

Not only are you blessed with a terrific wife Mike, but she has a superb taste in kits. Excellent score.

Just pre-ordered this fella! That is awesome Chad! If I were to ever consider building a 1/16 armor kit this would be the one. This is the first I've heard of this kit. Where did you pre-order from?

Well done Andy. That Panther II seems an ample reward for a battle well fought. If you are going to add wingy things (which by the way is not a bad thing) that Tamiya bf109 is the way to do it.

A couple of new adds for me over the past few weeks. I won this 1980 Dodge Ram50 on a FB auction group for $12. Thought it would be a neat little build. I own a 1987 Ram50 that's a bit on the haggard side, but works well as our yard and dump runner truck. Bought this from Sprue Bros during their 20% off ICM kits sale along with some AM.

Thanks Joe. Are those all yours? Thy are not mine personally , but they are my families. The VW shop was my Father's. He passed 17 years ago and it now belongs to my mom. It is no longer a business per say, but we have been gradually selling all of them off. My older brother manages all dealings. At the time of my father's passing there were 600 VW's and other assorted cars. We are now down to 125. My father had the business classified as a "VW Museum" in order to avoid being hassled by the county to put up a huge fence.

I bet it’s safe to say this is the first time this kit has been introduced in 1/48.
