You continue to put on a great show Keith. One of the things I like best about your opened up builds is that nothing is "off". I mean .....everything looks just right and in the right place. I'm learning a ton by watching folks llke you build these aircraft up and making them look as realistic as you do.
Which paint are you using for your NMF? Looks great.
Thank you! I used Alclad Gloss Black as the primer. I let it cure for 3 days before applying metal colors. The P-47 is entirely Alclad White Aluminum. The P-51s are both Aluminum for the fuselage and Alclad white aluminum for the the wings. Additionally, the mustangs also have Alclad dark aluminum on select panels. All three are coated in Alclad Aqua Gloss varnish.
You certainly have your NMF paintwork technique down pat! I have to compliment your wonderful photography as well! I'm envious of your build pictures. Mine usually look like they were taken with an instant print camera in 1978.

My dad is a professional photographer, so I def had a leg up on figuring out how to take decent photos 😎

The details.....man....the details !! I really don't think you left a single thing out except adding the coolant and engine oil to these things Keith. Beautiful work across the board on these builds buddy. Whew!!
I couldn't help but be a little nervous while watching you handle that model in the video. I cringe every time I have to pick one of mine up. lol

Good evening my friends. Sorry for neglecting this post for the past week. I had my hands full getting the aircraft done in time for a competition. Spent a few weekend nights up until 4:30AM to do so....
With that being said, I still need to make the diorama. 406 Silverado - Wasn't there a person that was interested in help to make a dio? Maybe could tag them as I post updates and progress on the Dio here.
An update - MiniArt reached out to me and asked for permission to use the P-47 photos for their gallery on their website. I'd imagine they will also post images on Instagram. Be on the lookout if you browse on their site or on IG!
