MiniArt P-47D-30RA 1/48 Advanced kit

Assembled my figures for the Dio. I used a combo of Tamiya US Infantry at rest, and Tamiya German tank Maintenance set. I have some sculpting putty that I’ll use to replace German hats and US infantry helmets.

Grass and additional foliage added to the dio. After the glue dried, I primed the whole thing with a black matte rattlecan 







I really wanted to include all three aircraft on the diorama. But I think it might be too cluttered. Especially since I still have to add the maintenance crew and a few other things. Prob just gonna do the opened P-51B with the P-47

With that being said, I still need to make the diorama. 406 Silverado - Wasn't there a person that was interested in help to make a dio? Maybe could tag them as I post updates and progress on the Dio here.


An update - MiniArt reached out to me and asked for permission to use the P-47 photos for their gallery on their website. I'd imagine they will also post images on Instagram. Be on the lookout if you browse on their site or on IG!

I just got caught up here again. First of all a large congratulations for the recognition from MiniArt!!! Both they and Eduard definitely know talent when they see it! 

The base for your dio is looking fantastic so far! I'm looking forward to seeing how you modify and detail the figures.

This is some really good work going on in this thread and congratulations on the recognition from MiniArt.

I'm in agreement with you on the 3 of those aircraft being a bit of a crowd in the dio and think you're right on with using two for it. Looking forward to seeing all of these guys in the dio Keith. Looking spectacular so far bud.

Looks like you've got some really good coverage/ pictures of that in the finished thread. I like how you paint the whole thing in black and then pick out the details bud.
