I have some candidates in the stash, but I'm either not feeling it, or I'm concerned that they would be too involved. When I was down in civilization the other day I stopped by Hobby Lobby and this said Open Wheel GB to me, so I'm in with a Model A Roadster.  |

Seems funny saying welcome to the GB cuz I am a newbie, but welcome to the GB. 1:43 and the mfg new too me too, nice addition. Is that resin? |

That kit is irresistible based on the box art alone. Makes me want to have experienced the era myself. (I was around, but not old enough to remember).
Don't think I've seen a roadster being built, looking forward to it.

Don't think I've seen a roadster being built, looking forward to it.
I don't think I've ever built a hotrod or even a custom car. Other than a handful of race cars I'm more into factory stock or emergency vehicles when I build automobiles. Hot rods do seem kind of fun though, very free form do what you like. Almost the anathema of the rivet counter.  |

That's one of the things I like most about certain car models - you can do whatever you want. Lot's of freedom there. With my aircraft I'm trying to build a relatively accurate representation of a real plane at some point in time. With these modified car models it's a question of what are the possibilities. Now there are classes of car modeling that also have 'rivet-counterish' requirements like the '88 Monaco GP winner specific configuration etc. as well as factory stock like you build.

Heya Kyle ( kyledehart5) and John ( keavdog), I'm in the middle of this Ta-152 build right now and it has taken a good bit of time to get it to where it is now. I really need a diversion build to get my modeling mojo back into a groove and was wondering if I could enter in with this one:  I need something easier right now just to have a sense of completion in my work and while this a pre-painted kit, I plan on adding a couple of twists to it to make it a bit more interesting. |
