Indeed. How did you pull off the red lettering? Looks like recessed lettering, cavities in the casting? Looks real nice.

They did a great job of recessing the lettering, but they also came with decals 😁

Front brakes taking shape Those are looking the part for sure. Being the owner of a front end/ alignment shop you definitely have an idea of how these things look in the real world and are applying that here. Looking good Chris!!

Those brake and rotor assemblies ALONE are all that and then you've got what you've done to the front clip and suspension mixed in there for extra eye candy. Great progress and I'm definitely tuned in for more on this one buddy!!

That looks fantastic. Truly. May I ask what adhesive did you use to secure the washers to the frame? They look so darned cool.

I was looking at the Nunu kit and the price of it, thinking why not just go MFH? So I'm keeping a close eye on this build. So far it looks like the real car, as usual!

Well I am firm believer in MFH, and I think everyone who has the desire to give one a try. Should! We only live once and you may surprise yourself, not to mention. Paul and I are willing to answer any questions you may have about building these kits.. And thanks for the kind comments 😉

Welp, it’s time to get my butt moving on the lotus and also time to start on the engine. Lots of assembly needed and this is a first for me. I have to assemble a crank shaft and connect the pistons to the rods. It also comes with PE head gaskets! Any way hear are some progress photos! Enjoy

I had to go back and look at what scale this thing was after seeing that last update Chris. I've seen partial engines being built up and all but I haven't seen anything like this in the scale automotive world just yet. This is comparable to a 1/32 Zoukei Mura Jumo 004 turbine engine build up. Good LORD man!!

Chris, I'm just speechless after seeing your pics. Will the crank through the clutch and drive shafts actually turn the wheels when everything is built up?

Fantastic! The thing that kills me about detail like this is it makes me wasting hours trying to figure out a way to show it in my build somehow.

I have to go through the process just to attach the clutch, so when I get to the trans axle everything will line up. It’s a big waste of detail. This is why I’m sharing it..
