Ok, fellas. This will be my next project. Since the Brabham is almost finished, I thought I would start this thread. This is a MFH 1/12 kit. And as per usual lots of drilling, dry fitting and with this particular kit, lots of carbon fiber decals. Hopefully I can make a nice looking model of this. I spent a couple hours getting most of the panels to line up and fixed a couple gap issues on the nose. I should be getting some color on soon [curl=https://postimg.cc/yWRTFbvg] [/url]

Chris, Just found your new build, and bookmarked it. I had to look the 100t up just to make sure that it was in the Camel Lotus 99t family.

Chris, WTG on the Carbon Fiber decals and millions of washers & rivets on the monocoque. Then the surprise of the front shocks and steering under it. All that work that will never be seen even if the body shell is removable. Just doesn't seem fair.

Thanks guys 😁 the steering and front shocks are a pain to install. Like Joel said it is a shame it is hidden.

This thing is looking great already Chris. No worries on being busy and all as I totally get it. I've been up to my eyeballs in stuff around the house as of late and taking care of things on other peoples stuff. Note to self......don't tell anyone else you're a mechanic because you'll be getting chased after like you're trying to get away from sharks.

Joseph, Just food for thought.
Over the long haul, which would be worse, people asking to look at their cars because they have trust in your abilities, or almost no one asking because they really don't have that trust.

I’m just saying that it would be nice to sit at my work bench every once in a while. My Ta-152 project has been going on now for 10 months and I’ve not got paint on it yet. Lol

Chris, From time to time it just seems to me that the designers at MFH are going to far trying to replicate in 1/12 scale almost every part that they can. Brake pads make little to no sense as you're not going to change pads down the road. It's kind of like when they were doing pistons, rods, etc for engines that once closed up would be the end of ever seeing them.

Yeah. Post images will have the occasional stroke. They seem to be pretty quick about getting things going again when it happens. Anyways. Some really great details you’ve got going on here. Brake pads? Incredible.

I didn't realize that they still have the basic internals of the engines. joel
