Hang in there prof! Good catch on the invoices...sometimes I think they deliberately make them as complex and confusing as possible hoping people just won't pay that close attention and just pay whatever. Got to keep your guard up!

Yo Bill, yep, slippery buggers those kitchen boys but I got 'em nailed!
Boo, Greyhounds are the best, so good natured despite being one of the most abused dog breeds ever. If I had more space I would have dozens of them!
So, here we are, doing a bit of reverse modeling at the moment, that involves dismantling my sons Lego Star Wars collection and getting it ready for jolly old fleabay. Its not until you start that you realise just how much he has, this will not be a short process...
Still, it keeps the modeling gremlins at bay for a while longer although I have foolishly made a couple of purchases!
Other developments are we finally have sign off from the planning dept. despite the slightly irregular drain situation and the nice kitchen people have been in touch to schedule a delivery for late next month.
The builder has been conspicuous by his absence but that's not a prob as he's not due to start just yet, and as for the golf playing Dumbledore lookalike garden man, is he still alive???
Millie, time for a walk....

Cheers Bodge, so do I.
Choosing kitchen taps at the moment, you simply can't have enough fun!
Still, a small ray of light came when she asked me what I was planning on modeling next, can't tell if she was serious or taking the pi**

When ya this desperate guys, you try to hang on to any tiny crumb of hope!
Chair shopping this afternoon and if time allows, floor tiles.

Chaps.
Nice one Luigi, something about half the size is the best I can hope for! Richard, I do feel ya pain, I have yet to get to your stage but I'm dreading it already! Bill, don't mention tiles, I have had enough, really... Hi Steve, no,not a happy place at the moment. CB, ..................!
So, tonight over a spot of dinner, the wife says to me, "you're not modeling much at the moment" If I wasn't so hungry she would have ended up wearing my Spaghetti Bolognese...

A certain 'Detante' has come over the Wilkinson household.
Wife says she's a bit concerned that I'm not modeling! Very strange as she has hardly shown any concerns before. Still, it's a start I guess but then its easy for her to say now I have nowhere to model which I made a very clear (see abrupt) point of. She reckons it won't be as tough as I think to continue sticking stuff once the building work is complete but I think she speaks with forked tongue, either that or she's after something...
While I try to understand what she's after, I can satisfy myself by looking through the crammed box full of styrene that is my lovely F-14A kit, lovely stuff.

Just start moping around the kitchen holding random sprues from the box and looking horribly sad at random intervals...then burst into tears from time to time without warning and make statements to the effect that no one can possibly understand what you're going through. She'll be able to relate to you then.

Wife says she's a bit concerned that I'm not modeling! Watch out, next step will be "Oh darling, if you aren't going to model anymore, let's sell all those boxes to make room for some more shoes..." Get back modeling, and start using the best table you have in your home, saying from time to time something like "oh, that darn paint nearly fell on the table"...

Well chaps. Things are on hold for a short time due to a severe lack of bricks! Actually, that's strictly not true, we can get bricks, just not ones that match. Also, there is a small delay on the bi-fold doors so we are in limbo for a couple of weeks. This of course plays into my hands a little, lots of grumpy conversations can take place centered around my lack of modeling. In the meantime, I am trying to find something to model that fits a certain set of criteria... 1. Has to be of interest to me (easier said than done). 2. Musn't have too many parts (rules out anything by Trump or Dragon) 3. Must be easily and quickly packed away when necessary. 4. Must be quick enough to finish as I don't want it becoming a shelf queen. 5. While under construction, can't take up too much space. So, that's where we're at, we wait and I get more miserable as time goes by...

They're a world apart, so they can be refreshing yet challenging. And they turn out quite nice after painted, especially if you build a base to put them on.

Me too, I just don't get Spaghetti Bolognese, its over rated. I'll eat it but I find it really boring even though my Mrs makes it better than I've ever had it before. If you want to eat something italianish, there are lots of tastier alternatives. And that's someting I'm sure of

I can make a very good bolognese as well, me little 'un and girl love it but I agree, spagetti Bolognese got nothing to do with Italy, probably a smart bloke somewhere else invented it ;D. Long time since I've been in Italy, but superb food over there Cheers

Well chaps. Been a while since I posted. Things quiet here, very quiet. Been trying to model on the corner of the Dining Room table with little success, even less tomorrow as the table is being removed and put in storage for six weeks. On the upside, the bricks will arrive Monday and the new kitchen will arrive tomorrow and will be stored in the garage until needed. On the downside, the footings aren't deep enough and heavy rain is forecast. And... the wife has come down with gastric flu. Dog!!! Walkies...

Footings signed off today, way too deep in my opinion but there you go.
Despite the torrential rain, plan is to pour the concrete Friday...
On the plus side, Tamiya are releasing a 1/12 '84 Honda NSR500 this month, fingers crossed they release it in Fast Freddy's numbers...

Hello chaps, been a while so here's a couple of pics taken last night of my former modeling space. The guy on the ladder is our tame Sparky, Craig, damn fine chap. He finished first fix wiring at nearly 9pm last night.
