Excellent, Sven! The Pup is a beautiful kit! Built one back in early 2011 and have two more in the stash...

Just got home to this! A present from my parents to me for great scores in school. Could I wish for more? Kind regards, Sven. Fantastic Sven! What a great reward! Anything by Wingnut Wings is going to be a great kit. I have not had the pleasure of building one yet, but I have seen quite a few in the box as well as built up. You are in for a treat!! Cheers, Sam

Thank Dicky and Gary. I've had the pick-up for a little while. But in a quandary as I want to do a vehicle operated by PMC's and don't know how much of the above set will be useful *sigh*

I know I just said that I need another kit like I need another hole in my head, but these became available and at a great price too so along with the Russian S-51 203mm Self-Propelled Gun, I am all set for SP Artillery. Plus a few others I have here stashed away. Jeff

I think it's a Satcom antenna Dicky. But not too sure. So I'll leave that off my this build. I do have a couple of resin figures on order for it. So can't start it yet.

A few eBay scores showed up yesterday! The Challenger 1 is easily my favorite modern tank - I much prefer its lines to the newer Challenger 2 and Leopard 2 - and reading up on it, the C1 kicked some serious backside in Desert Storm/Granby, outperforming the M1 Abrams, in fact. That and I'm a fan of Tamiya's 80s/90s armor kits. Pretty well detailed, very quick to build. I might or might not start one of these off very soon.

My latest purchase was a new desk. I will post pics to mancave thread later I have a desk setup on my short list that I found at Ikea, it is their Galant series. I bought that one too Corner table with one extension part. It was quite easy to assemble and it feels really heavy and solid. Also their 10 year warranty sounds really good.

Early Christmas present from my parents... a corner curio I found on Craiglist which was a perfect match to the furnitures in the family room. Only $150... believe it or not my wife has allowed me to display some of my built models, awards and WWII militaria stuff in there so more people can see 'em. Traded my Academy 1/35 Blackhawk helicopter kit for this Alpine set with a buddy at the local model club... Hope you all had great Thanksgiving... bet many of you took advantage of online vendors Black Friday sales. Hi Andy ! Very nice - wooden & glass. your models put on it would be nice display.
