The Falke is almost complete, some quite small projects are on the way and I needed something larger. But not TOO large, and it had to be something special. After building the "FT-17" build was more or less tricky and a compromise (se "The Victorianized FT-17), I couldnt resist to get this little fella here: Size isnt too big, I love the "compact" and slightly ancient look of it and the price was really okay. It has loads of great details, though and the kit even features single tracks! When Im gonna build it, its not the German version and it will get a "special surrounding"

Good evening, A little heads up for those who may be interested. Lidl have a promotion which started today with some items of potential interest - Wall mounted display cabinet £29.99 or two for £55 - I got two to be on the safe side Also an ultrasonic cleaner for £19.99. Now I am not sure how well this will perform but at the price not a lot to lose me thinks - They also have a larger floor standing display unit which may be of interest to some but can't recall the full details and price. Now all I need is some bench time. Tim

Lucas,
18cm is correct, takes the 1\35th Churchill and Valentine at a slight angle or side on if you prefer.
I will be filling mine with figures me thinks.
Dicky,
The only ultrachronic I have at the moment involves me little chesticle tubes - coughing like a good un!!!!!!!!

Just received two presents from the X-Mas-Swap of a German SciFi forum: >1/32 SAS figures from Airfix >replicas of Hals Weapon and PAL-Unit, both molded in Resine and sized 1/1, plus nuts and bolts for it. 2-EURO-coin as size comparison: YEEEEEEE-HAW! Hals weapon is just perfect for the Steampunk uniform: Already got a weapon, but 2 is better than one

Aah, i love these kind of topics I've got some catchin up to do hehehe.. I've got this for 'Sinterklaas' it's like santa-claus but a bit different. And i ordered this basket set which was actually for his Merkava 4 brother ( The earlier Merkava from Academy ) which i bought at Euro Scale Modelling in October. Guess to have to order another one hehe. Got this one as an early christmass gift And the following are on preorder at Luckymodel. The Meng's won't take that long anymore by the looks of it. And also some bottles of paint which arrived the day before yesterday. For the Kfir For the War on Terror groupbuild im organising on a Dutch Forum. For different IDF projects. Well, you're up to date again for now hehe..

I did something similar recently...although the outgoing to incoming ratio wasn't anything near to what you've got going on here.

Thanks guys.
Deafpanzer: that Legend set is indeed a very nice touch. Way better then how Academy wants to make the B&C. It is a bit of work, but looks very nice on your Merkava's!

Had to brave the special hell that is the Post Office during the holidays this morning. Thanks, stupid "signature must be required at time of delivery" for international stuff. Anyway, the contents of the two boxes made dealing with the crowd completely worthwhile! First up, Wingnut's "Christmas Surprise", the AMC DH.9! After seeing the "Lobster" and Greek schemes, it was hard to just buy one! Next, Meng's rocket Komet: And finally, Meng's new Leopard!

From what I understand indy links and one-piecers...haven't had a chance to crack the lid yet, but if they're anything like the T-90 they'll be brilliant.

Groan! why do I do it to myself? Out shopping with Mrs sniper this morning and just happened to walk into a model shop, Then Bang! this bugger jumped in my hands. Surprisingly the Mrs didn't say a word just smiled at me sadly! This will be part of my long term winter build which will probably get started in the new year.
