This was started back in November of 2012. Finally, got the basement about 90% done and the hobby room about 98%. Still need to hang a door and re-hang one. From this a year or so ago...... Shelf is one from my childhood (age-wise, not maturity) The little guy in my lap on the photo-cube (remember those?) is now a paramedic, served in iraq and stands about 6-2 and weighs, well, a lot. Big boy. The room, right after it was declared open. Been tweeking it ever since then. There is a desk with the computer and wireless printer on the right side, now. Paint area....not quite set up at the time. Storage closet behind.

Nice update to the Cave Dicky! Don't forget to add a little Extra Thin to that vase, wouldn't want your white-stuff stock to start wilting on you.

Why thank'ee brother McB,It is rather small, and compact...Approx 7'x 7',but at least now I can see the floor, and the desk. The ole desktop has snuffed it's mortal coil, with a lot of my references on.I'm hoping a mate of mine can recover the files tho!

Since I cleaned it all up this evening...well early wee morning hours here. Let's take a peak before I wreck it again... When I was working in a truck out for a week (sometimes 3-4 weeks at varying points of the past 15 years) I worked out of a "Bench in a Box" But now I'm at home in some capacity, so it's time to unload it back out onto my work "bench"...well re-purposed table. I got this rather large roll of blue vinyl from a place I was getting a load of machinery for a factory that was being moved from New Hampshire to Mexico -- I don't know what they did with it blue side up, but the back side is a rough rubberish material which makes for a great work surface. I'll need to go through all that Tamiya paint as I used to have it organized by what colors I used most often...speaking of paint I might have a bit of paint lying around... There are 96 cans of paint in these three flats... Now you might ask why do you have all that paint...A fair question, most of it revolving around the fact that we have a store here in the Pennsylvania area (and a few surrounding states) called "Ollie's Bargain Outlet", and those little cans (called 1/4 cans because they're 1/4 the size of normal cans) pop up from time to time for 59 CENTS a piece. But fear not I do have enough stuff to put it all on... Although I found a rogue Ferrari, Jag & Acura in this mix, these two angles show my domestic (Domestic to me here in the U.S. anyways) selection. I just assembled the 2nd part of the interlocking shelving system here, so I need to move the Jeep to the domestic shelves, and then organize these later today by 1:1 Manufacturer as I have something like 20 Ferrari, 13 Toyota, and on and on kits on my "Import" shelves; and YES I do have a London Bus, doesn't everyone? Still got some floor sweeping and organization to do, but that's the tour of the Man Cave...err well Man Corner anyways...I'd like to finish up this little 14'x10' section with some outlets for more lights and a spray booth - a near necessity in Pennsylvania where we're going to have trouble getting about freezing for the next 10 days.

Well try this way to post pics . .Well made some new stash space .Got a new clean area . .added new cabinet. . . .Part of the stash. . . . Part of my German HO collection I had many happy hours in Germany on wet weekend afternoons in the cellar with my boys it always amused me how many kids wanted to watch trains then play playstation if you gave them the opportunity. Diana asked why I kept them I just said from happy times with our boys. Might build a new layout some day.

You guys really know how to make a grown man weep with jealousy. I've just had to move out of my beloved shed and work off the kitchen table.
I have however, with a little skillfull negotiation with the Mrs secured a cupboard space no more than 2 cubic meters in size to convert in the new year. Wahoo.
