I've started a new mancave thread since the 2012 thread was getting a bit long and may be an issue for some to open.
Please use this thread to show your work area as the old thread is now locked.

I think it is a big mistake... work bench within a view of the pool where ladies in bikinis may be laying down working on their tan. Big mistake... no way I can focus...
Can't wait to see it completed... promise us you will post pics of process?

Great looking man cave!!! You have room for one more modeler? Same here as I am running out of shelves space for more AK and Vallejo bottles that I need to find a way to expand without driving my wife nuts.

Hey Ski, love the modeling digs bro. I like havin everything at arms reach or a short roll in the chair...just my style! Ya Bro, I couldn't agree more. just so happens when we bought the house the basement was unfinished, YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I set the boys rooms, weight room and model bunker, daylight basement of course. I have a suction fan for when the fumes are too much and all the good ol war flix are within reach too. The photo bench is in the foreground, computer one room over and we are in business. I spend 10-12 hrs in there at times, in the winter of course. And when winter leave comes, the BOSS knows not to bother unless someone is bleeding or the house is on fire, lol. Mac, that's one cool line up of soldiers, Way ta Go buddy! Love it!!! Spud, it looks like your wife would never get into your bunker, it's too clean, HA! I wish I had the room to organize my paint. I'm usually pretty analytical when it comes to detail, but I recon you got me there Bro. And I don't have 1/4 the paints you have, got some catchin up to do. Cheers, Ski.

Gee Wiz Boo, looks more like a surgical operations room than a model bunker, HA! You guys are way too organized for me. I was just thinkin how I could set up little shelves for my paints, ya know, follow the croud................ After serious consideration I decided it ain't gonna happen, no room, bummer. Oh well, I'll dig where I last saw em and hopefully find em before too long. Love the set up Boo!
Cheers, Ski.

Jeez spud... no wonder I can't get a good supply at my LHS. YOU HAVE IT ALL! Some nice "cavage" here. This was (note I am already speaking past tense) bench as of this AM. Kingtiger cleared away and a WNW Albatros about to take flight. It sure won;t stay looking like t for long.

Man,I can't hold a candle to you guys. All I've got is this Not really a Man Cave as much as a Man Corner. :(Come to think of it,I did spend a lot of time as a young whipper standing in the corner,so maybe it's fitting Jeff T.

Thanks Boo,The bench does have a lot of history. It was My Grandfathers ammo reloading bench.I can remember sitting there for hours with Him re-loading shells when I was a kid. Can't see much of it now since I added the new top but it's got to be almost seventy years old. So,yeh,it works. Jeff T.

Beauty Geek, couldn't ask for better. You got great sunlight, plenty of room, work areas, and I'll bet there's a beer cooler in there somewhere, lol. Fine set up Geek!
Cheers, Ski.
